IncorpDirect Inc

The Challenge

At the outset of the project, IncorpDirect was a newly formed company that wanted to offer a one-stop-shop online incorporation and business registration service to clients. Our brief was to create a website that made the normally complex incorporation and registration process as simple as possible for both the customers and administrative users at IncorpDirect, so that they could concentrate on growing their business. The challenge for Anantya was:

Project Management

  • To formulate a complete functional and technical specifications document that would encompass the project scope.

The Website

  • To design and develop a website that was clean, professional and easily navigable for customers.
  • To create a user-friendly administrative interface that allowed IncorpDirect staff to easily manage the website and information retrieved online from clients making applications for various products and services.
  • To facilitate seamless dual language support in both French and English.

Copywriting

  • To research and write web content for the website.

The Solution

Project Management

Anantya drafted a well-researched report that clearly defined the incorporation and business registration process in Canada. Based on this information, the appropriate technical and functional specifications for the website could be drafted. This provided the foundation for the development and design of the website. During the development process, a Project Manager was assigned to ensure smooth communication between the development team and IncorpDirect.

Online Registration & My Account facility

Anantya designed an easy to use online registration and "My Account" system, so that customers could purchase products and services online at their convenience. In addition, customers were empowered to manage their own accounts through the "My Account" facility. Customers could also keep track of saved and purchased products and services.
This system has the following features:

  • Profile management
  • Customer Payments and Billing
  • Historical Application Data

Copywriting

Anantya researched and wrote the content for the website. The goal was to create content that was relevant to prospective and current small and medium sized business owners. The material had to be informative and easy to understand. We concentrated on using a writing style that provided information in an FAQ and step-by-step format.

Content Management System

A CMS was developed to enable IncorpDirect administrative staff to easily add, edit or delete web content whenever needed. We also built a facility to allow for multiple administrative logins with the Master Administrative user assigning the appropriate rights to each user. For example, the SEO specialists used by IncorpDirect were allowed special access to a particular section in the administrative interface so that they could alter and update the meta tags on the website whenever they needed to.

Automatic PDF Form-Filling

Anantya improved administrative efficiency by automatically populating the PDF application forms directly from the data entered by the client without any manual intervention by IncorpDirect. This enabled IncorpDirect to file the documents with the relevant government departments with the minimum of fuss.

Secure Online Payment System

We integrated a secure online payment gateway that made online purchasing easy for any customer. In addition, the system could generate the correct amount of taxes payable by any customer according to their tax district.

Sales and Marketing Reporting

These reports were developed to report on volume of sales by type and time period as well as where the client heard about IncorpDirect. In this way, IncorpDirect can track the sales patterns for particular products as well as the effectiveness of various marketing strategies.

The Results

IncorpDirect has a smoothly functioning, easy to maintain and customer friendly website that meets their growing needs. They can easily process customer applications with the various systems in place. The IT processes have been streamlined and integrated to provide a complete solution to their business needs. The new systems have also resulted in improved work efficiency.


Centre Stage School of the Arts Pte Ltd

The Challenge

Centre Stage is a drama school that offers drama and art and craft classes for children, as well as acting, speech and drama, voice and art classes for teenagers and adults. In addition, Centre Stage Productions also produces theatre shows suitable for adults and children. The challenge for Anantya was:

  • The Website: To design and develop a website that was fun yet stylish that would appeal to all their clients and allow for online registration of classes.
  • The Online Booking & Payment System: To create an online booking and secure online payment gateway facilitating the booking and payment of seats for various Centre Stage performances.
  • The School Web Management System: To build a School Web Management System (SWMS), allowing for the complete management of all school data online in a central database.
  • Web Services: To develop a web service so that all necessary data could be transferred from the web server database to a local PC Access database for use by the accountants.

  • Integrated booking system allowing reconciliation with tickets purchased at the box office

The School Web Management System

Anantya has created a user friendly SWMS that assists the Administrators at Centre Stage to smoothly manage the following data and variables:

  • Personal customer information
  • Customer school fee payments
  • Class scheduling
  • Teacher scheduling
  • Invoice management

Web Services

Anantya created a solution to enable Centre Stage to request, via a simple, user-friendly interface, updated data and reports from the SWMS web server database. Features include:

  • Simple, user-friendly interface
  • Request for most recently updated data or historical data
  • Data downloaded from the web server database into a local Access database
  • External parties could then be given access to this information

The Results

Centre Stage has a fully functioning, easy to maintain and customer friendly website that meets their growing needs. The IT processes have been streamlined and integrated to provide a complete solution to their business needs. The new systems have resulted in improved work efficiency. In addition, the website and online payment systems have allowed Centre Stage to leverage on the Internet to provide convenient solutions preferred by clients.
